National Galleries of Scotland are delighted to share this panel discussion inspired by Thomas Joshua Cooper’s The World's Edge exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery featuring photographs of his expeditions to uncharted land masses and previously unknown islands and archipelagos.
Chaired by Chief Curator of Photography, Anne Lyden, we invited world-renowned Cartographer Mary Spence MBE and author/singer-songwriter Malachy Tallack to explore the real and imaginary in mapmaking and journeying.
