Question challenge
S2 at Braidhurst High invite you to wonder - what will the planet look like in 100 years?
Welcome to Your Art World, where 3-18 years olds are challenged to make and share their art. Every six months young people across Scotland will create a new set of art challenges to inspire children and young people to get making.
Your Art World is a place to think, wonder, create and share your art online, as part of a virtual community. It could be 2D, 3D, film, animation, audio or writing. There are open-ended challenges to encourage critical thinking, creative play and individual voice. Learning resources are provided to help teachers, parents and carers scaffold learning experiences that are genuinely child-led, demonstrating how artists develop ideas and express what matters to them.
Schools who share pupils' artworks in the online gallery this term are in with a chance of winning £100 of art materials.
Here are the latest challenges, created by children and young people across Scotland. Choose any one you like, or try all of them!
Don’t forget to share your art - 2D, 3D, film, audio or creative writing by Thursday 30 June 2022 so we can add it to the online gallery.
S2 at Braidhurst High invite you to wonder - what will the planet look like in 100 years?
Pupils from Our Lady of the Missions Primary in Giffnock challenge you to create something inspired by the word showcase.
Corstorphine P1s created a picture to inspire you to make your own.
If you’re not inspired by any of the other challenges, why not come up with your own?
All of the challenges in Your Art World are open-ended to encourage children and young people to lead their own learning. The getting started resources are designed to support learners to think for themselves, identify what matters to them and harness their imagination without relying on a grown-up to tell them what to do.
The deadline for you to send us your art is Thursday 30 June 2022.
We will add all your art to the gallery soon after.
Remember that schools are in with a chance of winning £100 of art materials when they share pupils’ art online.
