National Galleries of Scotland Art Competition for Schools

Entry to the National Galleries of Scotland Art Competition for Schools 2019 has closed.

In 2019, the sixteenth year of the competition, we received over 8,600 entries, from schools across 31 council areas of Scotland.

The aim of the competition is to encourage school children to interact with, and be inspired by, artworks in the National Galleries of Scotland’s collection. The winning entries will be displayed online soon and will be exhibited at The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Modern One) from June 1 – September 22 2019.

Teachers can access full details about the next year’s competition from September 2019.
