Audio Described Tour | National

Enjoy a descriptive audio tour of some of the best-loved artworks on display at the National. The selected highlights range over 500 years and are all part of the National Galleries of Scotland’s world-class art collection.

This guide, which has been developed specifically for people with visual impairments, features detailed descriptions of artworks together with information about the context in which works were created and on artistic techniques.

There are seven paintings on this tour and each description lasts between 2 and 5 minutes. Gallery staff are available to help you locate any of the paintings.
