Ethereal Andy
About this artwork
Collaboration is important to Craig Waddell, who believes a portrait should be a true reflection of how a person sees themselves. Each portrait is made after discussion with the sitter about how they would like to be presented – and they are encouraged to choose how they pose and what they wear. ‘I want to make photographs that have a sense of dignity and directness, and serve as a vibrant update to the traditional portrait whilst celebrating the diversity and beauty of the queer community’.
