The competition which ran for 17 years has evolved into an exciting new opportunity for schools and families, shaped by feedback from teachers, parents and pupils. Your Art World: make and share invites 3-18 year olds to make and share their art with the world and provides the tools for teachers and parents to support creative thinking. Find resources and open-ended challenges to inspire creative play and individual voice. Every 3-18 year old is invited!
The 2020 competition invited families and schools to submit entries on a variety of themes inspired by artworks in the national collection. There were 53 prize winners from across Scotland and additional special prizes from our partners: Scottish Ballet and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

Scottish Ballet and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
This year we are working with Scottish Ballet and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. As well as helping select the winning artworks, Scottish Ballet chose some further pieces in celebration of their 2020 Christmas production and the Garden will also select additional artworks in celebration of their 350th anniversary.
