The pile of empty bottles on the right topped by the sign JOHNSON'S ENTIRE XXX, are evidence of the pride taken in this venture. We are reminded of the eighteenth-century beginnings of the Industrial Revolution in Britain when small factories and mills emerged in the countryside, before the rise of the great industrial cities.
