Built in the 1830s as an orphanage, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is now home to special exhibitions, the National Galleries of Scotland's world-famous Dada and Surrealist collection, and an outstanding selection of works by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi. It is set in beautiful grounds, and has a shop and café.
Directly opposite Modern Two is Modern One.
Open daily, 10am-5pm (6pm for August only).
Last entry to the show is 30 minutes before closing time.
There is wheelchair access to the Gallery directly from the car park at the rear entrance. Near this entrance is a specially adapted toilet and lift and all parts of the building are accessible by wheelchair.
