The Warhol Factory was a hugely successful part of the Andy Warhol; A Celebration of Life… and Death exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery.

Open daily between 2 and 4.30pm during August, it was visited by over 3,000 visitors both young and old, with six different activities available and two artists on hand to give assistance. Many visitors commented that it helped them to understand Warhol’s methods.

One of the Clore Education Studios was transformed into a silver space for both making and displaying art.

This is the first time that the National Galleries of Scotland has been able to offer such an exciting and extensive education programme of activities based on a single exhibition, thanks to the Bank of Scotland totalART sponsorship.
