Martin Boyce
Martin Boyce’s installation Electric Trees and Telephone Booth Conversations was the centrepiece of What you see is where you're at, a complete re-hang of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art to mark it’s 50th anniversary.
Although Electric Trees and Telephone Booth Conversations was acquired for the national collection in 2008, it was first displayed at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in 2009 and the artist personally supervised the complex installation process. We have taken this opportunity to focus on this captivating work, and specifically the artistic process behind its conception and installation, alongside the artist himself.
