1966 Work included alongside Eva Hesse and others in the ground-breaking exhibition Eccentric Abstraction in New York
1982 The Museum of Modern Art stages the artist’s first significant survey exhibition
2000 Commissioned to produce a large-scale installation for the Turbine Hall in Tate Modern, London to mark the opening of the gallery
2007 Major retrospective exhibition opens at Tate Modern and tours to Centre Pompidou, Paris; Guggenheim Museum, New York; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C.
