School groups are welcome to enjoy the wide variety of changing modern and contemporary art on display.

Our online resources provide support before, during and after your visit.

Before you visit: watch the video Making Sense of Art to spark group discussion about why we need art.

During your visit: use the prompts provided in How to look at art  to talk about art in the gallery. Try 10 Things to do in the gallery or Outdoor Learning (10 things to do in the sculpture park at  Modern One).

After your visit: Your Art World provides challenges and resources to inspire art making back in class or at home, including an online gallery where you can share your pupils’ art with the world.

Please book 2 weeks in advance.
