Led by an artist educator to trigger response and debate, this session encourages Secondary school pupils to question what they see in the Gallery of Modern Art, and challenge assumptions about modern and contemporary art.

Goals of the tour are to let pupils:

  • Analyse the creative thinking, ideas and influences behind selected artworks

  • Investigate artists’ techniques

  • Explore multiple viewpoints

  • Formulate and justify their own opinion
