Highlights tours of the permanent collection are designed to bring art to life for Primary school children.

They will be encouraged to analyse what they see, ask questions, and consider other viewpoints to form their own opinion of some of the masterpieces currently on display. 

Our tour options available are:

  • 13th –19th century European paintings and sculptures (Scottish National Gallery)
  • Portraits of famous and infamous Scots, past and present (Scottish National Portrait Gallery)
  • 20th century and contemporary art (Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art)
