- Guided tour
- Community & access groups
Relaxed guided tours of the permanent art collection. Tours are led by an artist educator and can include refreshments (where possible) in one of our learning spaces.
We are happy to tailor a visit with the particular needs of groups in mind. For example, taking into account the level of English language a group may have, or making sure a tour is dementia-friendly.
We can provide descriptive tours for groups with visual impairment and tours with portable hearing loops for those with hearing impairment. A British Sign Language interpreter can be arranged with prior notice. Step-free access is available in all gallery areas. Two wheelchairs are available at each gallery for visitors to borrow. Portable stools are provided as standard, but chairs with back support can also be arranged. Please make any access requirements known on the form below.
Our Highlights tour options available are:
- 13th–19th-century European paintings and sculptures (Scottish National Gallery)
- Portraits of famous and infamous Scots, past and present (Scottish National Portrait Gallery)
- Modern and contemporary art (Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art)
