Beautiful notecard set contains 10 blank cards, 5 different designs with 2 cards of each, with envelopes in a folio, featuring works from the Broughton Collection in the Fitzwilliam Museum. Contains 5 cards each of a colourful, diverse array of flora typically found in meadowland wildflower habitats.
Selection of 18th century works of art gifted from the Broughton bequest to the Fitzwilliam Museum. This notecard set beautifully captures both the fine quality of the works from the Broughton collection and the natural countryside. Notecard set includes the following studies - Flowers of the Field by Mary Forbes (née Capell), Ranunculus, pelargonium and wild geranium by Henriette Geertruida Knip, Two Geraniums; Lathyrus nissolia, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, Linum perenne, Lysimachia nemorum; and Anonis or Rest Harrow (Crotalaira) by Georg Dionysius Ehret.
