Girl at a Window by Rembrandt van Rijn A4 sketchbook
50 blank sheet 21 x 29.7 cm sketchbook of Accent Antique textured fine art paper, on the cover the beautiful artwork Girl at a Window by Rembrandt van Rijn from the Dulwich Picture Gallery Collection. This sketchbook is perfect for writing, drawing and painting.
Painted in 1645 when Rembrandt was 39. The girl’s identity remains uncertain, although it is widely accepted that she is a servant girl; her rosy, tanned complexion along with her brown arms implies she worked outdoors. Leaning on a ledge, she stares directly out of the painting while fiddling with her necklace.
Rembrandt van Rijn was a Dutch draughtsman, painter and printmaker. An innovative and prolific master, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history.
