Waxwings – a winter bird greeting card
Single greeting card featuring a drawing of three beautiful waxwings feasting on lovely pinkish winter berries. They are occasional winter visitors to the UK from Scandinavia. If it’s a particularly cold year with limited food supplies, they travel over to the UK to raid our berries.
These years are called ‘irruptions’. If you’re lucky, you might see a big group of them descend on your rowan tree. Their dramatic crest gives them a distinctive silhouette.
This card is designed, manufactured, and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
It is printed on lovely quality card and comes with a nice white envelope.
