This gorgeous and practical month-to-view year planner features a colourful and striking masterpiece Still Life (The Grey Fan), c. 1920–25 by Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell from the National Galleries of Scotland’s collection.
The “Scottish Colourists” was a group of Scottish painters comprising Samuel John Peploe, Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell, George Leslie Hunter and John Duncan Fergusson, who were active in the early twentieth century. They all spent time in France and were influenced by French artists’ bold use of colour and free brushwork.
In this calendar informative text accompanies each work and the date pad features previous and next month’s views.
This year have been printed without plastic sleeves but with extended cover flaps to reduce plastic usage.
