Scottish Colourists 2020 Wall Calendar
This art calendar features 12 colourful and striking masterpieces from Scottish artists which can all be found in the National Galleries of Scotland’s collection.
From masters such as George Leslie Hunter to the bright and bold brushstrokes of Samuel John Peploe and the perfect still life of Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell, these highlights of the collection are a beauty to behold.
The Scottish Colourists were a group of four artists, three from Edinburgh, who enlivened the Scottish art scene in the early twentieth century. Their post-impressionist work, though not universally recognized initially, came to have a formative influence on contemporary Scottish art and culture.
In this calendar informative text accompanies each work and the datepad features previous and next months views.
