Limited edition bronze sculpture of the Reverend Robert Walker made exclusively by Alan Beattie Herriot for the National Galleries of Scotland. This bronze limited edition is produced as an edition of 100. Each edition is hand-made to order and is estimated to take around 10 weeks to complete.
The emblematic image of the National Galleries of Scotland Collection Reverend Robert Walker Skating on Duddingston Loch by Sir Henry Raeburn, better known as the Skating Minister has been recreated as a beautiful three dimensional bronze sculpture by renowned sculptor Alan Beattie Herriot.
Alan Beattie Herriot MRBS graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1974. Over the past few decades he has built an international reputation and is considered one of Scotland’s most successful figurative sculptors.
He has produced work for the major Heritage Conservation bodies, The National Trust for Scotland and Historic Scotland as well as for organisations and individuals in Britain and Ireland, Holland, France and Norway.
