Limited edition art print produced exclusively for the National Galleries of Scotland in 2014. This special edition Giclee print of Untitled by Steven Campbell is a detail from the original artwork installation On Form and Fiction.

On Form and Fiction, 1990, at Glasgow's Third Eye Centre, Campbell took a compendium of artistic forms and styles and subjected them to absurd fictional plots. He created a museum-like setting, complete with benches borrowed from Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow and dramatic lighting. The walls were covered with a grid of sepia-ink drawings, framing twelve large acrylic paintings.

Each deluxe edition is a Giclee printed on Cotton Rag paper and there are 100 prints in this limited edition.

Steven Campbell after graduating from emerged as the leading figure of Scotland’s figurative painters who began to exhibit their work in the early 1980s. After working as an engineer for seven years, in 1982 Campbell graduated from Glasgow School of Art. A Fulbright Scholarship took him to New York, where he became commercially very successful. In 1986 Campbell returned to Glasgow and continued to develop his distinctive painting style, which often has a surreal and mysterious quality. His last major exhibition was 'The Caravan Club' in 2002, at the Talbot Rice Gallery in Edinburgh. He died on 15 August 2007.
