Small batch handmade whisky flavoured marmalade
Small batch whisky flavoured 300 gram jar of marmalade handmade in Scotland.
Marmalade is a fruit preserve like jam made from the juice and peel of citrus fruits boiled with sugar and water. This marmalade is flavoured with Whisky, which It's believed whisky-making began in Scotland as winemaking methods spread from monasteries in Europe; with no access to grapes, monks used grain mash instead to produce an early form of the popular spirit. The name itself derives from the Gaelic name, uisge beatha, which translates loosely to 'water of life'.
Each delicious jar is handmade in Dunkeld by Palmerston in small batches to original recipes.
Ingredients: Sugar, oranges, lemons and scotch blended whisky. Made with 50% fruit to sugar.
