The Unicorn is used on the coats of arms in heraldry to represent Scotland and is symbolic of pride, bravery and purity amongst other things. The Unicorn is Scotland’s national animal.
This fair-trade decoration is produced by Saint Nicolas. For over 25 years Saint Nicolas have worked with a Christian charity in Thailand to help disadvantaged women find work in their community, today some 200 skilled women work at home sewing St Nicolas decorations, and many of them have been doing so for more than 10 years.
