Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh chiffon scarf
Beautiful lightweight chiffon silk scarf in deep blue and golden yellows by Fox and Chave. The pattern of this scarf is inspired by a detail of the beautiful artwork The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh.
Painted in June 1889, it describes the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise, with the addition of an ideal village. The Starry Night is one of the most recognized paintings in the world.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who posthumously became one of the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art.
Fox and Chave work in collaboration with international art galleries and museums to create a unique range of fashionable scarves and ties.
Please note, due to the nature of the printing process, the design on the reverse of this scarf will be paler in colour than the front.
