Luxurious satin and brushed silk lined reversible stole inspired by Gustav Klimt’s rich and colourful painting Hope II. This stunning double-sided stole features the recognisable pattern on a gold background on one side, and black with cashmere feel on the other side, finished with a fringed trim.

Hand-finished unique design made in the United Kingdom by Fox & Chave. This high-quality large silk and satin scarf makes a beautiful and versatile accessory to wear for any occasion.

The pattern in this scarf is inspired by a detail of the long robe covering a naked pregnant woman depicted in Klimt’s painting Hope II.

Born in Austria, Gustav Klimt was a symbolist painter and member of the Vienna Secession movement, whose primary subject was the female body, marked by eroticism. Renowned by his paintings, murals, sketches and more, he got great success during his ‘Golden Phase’, where he used gold leaf for many of his paintings.
