In August 1888, Vincent van Gogh began painting a series of works which undoubtedly have made him known throughout the world, the sunflowers. Van Gogh envisioned his sunflower works as a series and worked meticulously on them in anticipation of the arrival in Arles, of his friend Paul Gauguin.
Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade, he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of which date from the last two years of his life.
This bag is lightweight at 56 g (1.98 oz) but can carry 20 kg (44 lbs).
