Catterline in Winter by Joan Eardley large canvas reusable tote bag
This marvellous canvas shopper bag is an exclusive design for the National Galleries of Scotland. It features the popular artwork Catterline in Winter by Joan Eardley printed on both sides.
Joan Eardley, one of Scotland’s most loved artists, visited the coastal fishing village of Catterline in 1951 for the first time. It sparked a fascination that would last the rest of her life. She made this village in north-east Scotland her home and found inspiration in the dramatic light and rapidly changing weather. The gentle landscapes and wild rolling seascapes she painted there in wind, snow, rain and sunshine are among her best-loved works.
Perched on top of the hill and at the mercy of the elements, the cottages seem to be bracing themselves for a hard winter.
Internal zipped pocket, magnetic closure and colour block shoulder straps. Same image on both sides of bag and National Galleries of Scotland logo inside.
