For educators

We invite educators to share our resources with learners of all levels to explore Scotland’s national collection of art and think about art in new ways.

We offer a unique and valuable resource that spans the 13th century to modern and contemporary visual art, from all over the world.

Bring your class to the Galleries

We look forward to welcoming school groups to the galleries! We have a fantastic range of expert-led guided tours, interactive workshops and learning activities to enhance your students' experience of our collection and exhibition programme. Tours and workshops can be tailored to suit all ages and abilities.

For UK schools, the first two guided tours are free (up to 33 pupils per tour) with subsequent tours for £40 each.
