Your Art World

Corstorphine P1s created a picture to inspire you to make your own.

Picture challenge

Pupils from Corstorphine P1s have come up with a picture to inspire you. This short video shows how they came up with the picture. Taking this picture as a starting point, use the How to grow ideas resource to think, wonder and create your own unique artwork. You might end up making something that looks nothing like the starting point.

Getting started

Getting started

All of the challenges in Your Art World are open-ended to encourage children and young people to lead their own learning. The getting started resources are designed to support learners to think for themselves, identify what matters to them and harness their imagination without relying on a grown-up to tell them what to do.

How to experiment

Share your art

Share your art

The deadline for you to send us your art is Thursday 30 June 2022.
We will add all your art to the gallery soon after.

Remember that schools are in with a chance of winning £100 of art materials when they share pupils’ art online.

Your Art World

Every term we’ll post a new set of art challenges designed by children, for children. We want to inspire you to think, wonder, make and share your art in our online gallery. It could be 2D, 3D, film, animation, performance, writing or anything else you can think of.
