Olga Pypno graduated with a painting and printmaking degree from the Glasgow School of Art in 2021 and has been selected for the Saatchi Art Rising Stars Report 2022. Her current practice revolves around the ideas of the uncanny, the sublime and nostalgia. Working primarily in painting and film photography she looks to landscapes which evoke a sense of strange familiarity to her and her memories. Her work identifies the sublime within the world around us and analyses how the modern landscape affects our perception of it.
