Jewellery - mixed media and sterling silver

I am driven by the visual and textural environments of the often unseen natural world of rock pools, the seashore and caves. In particular, the structure and growth of lichens, corals and stalactites. Inspired by such forms, I create objects that emulate these enchanting habitats which serve as a reminder of the small intricacies of the world around us. Conserving Scotland’s native species and wilderness is very important to me. I also enjoy creating small, wearable items illustrating motifs of our protected animals, which is where my brand name Otter and Pine originated.
