For over a decade now, Ursula has been developing her work mostly through the camera lens. By portraying others, she captures what she observes around her, but also makes her inner world become real. Self-portraiture is a substantial part of her work; she uses her own body as a medium for reflection, contemplation and catharsis. The exploration of the female body and universe, as well as its beauty and complexity are at the core of her artistic creations. This work references the early stages of Ursula’s life, following a diagnosis of an auto-immune condition.
