Pencil, ballpoint pen and coloured pencil on paper.

This is a comic I made a few months after beginning my job at the National Galleries of Scotland. I created it using pencil, coloured pencils and black pen. The picture frames which appear as panels in the comic are all based on frames in the Scottish National Gallery. Similarly, the background is based on the appearance of the gallery; I also depicted a few of my colleagues. I was pushed out of my comfort zone creating this as I don't usually make work that feels this personal. I am an aspiring graphic novelist and children's book illustrator.
