Mixed media

The works in this series are a response to a place and time. I am primarily a painter using a range of materials including oil, wax, glass and metal. My work involves photography and film. The scenes I observe are familiar landscapes, but through my studio, materials, and process they are refined and edited. They are familiar, yet unknown to the viewer. My thoughts and feelings, combined with my material process, determine the finished pieces.
