Charlotte Taylor is a multi-disciplinary artist from Manchester. She takes inspiration from the National Galleries of Scotland collection. Her current practice, inspired by Phoebe Anna Traquair’s The Progress of a Soul, encapsulates feelings of being lost at this stage of life; exploring her own mental health to represent resilience in spite of anxiety. Using multimedia, with her body depicted in poetic motions, Charlotte tells her story: from the moment she falls into a blackhole, then later towards a sense of hope for the future. The final figure represents ‘The Victory’ of her growth.
