Story
I co-edit a surrealism magazine called 'The Debutante'. During May, we joined forces with Drawing Life Glasgow to host a virtual portraiture event called 'The Avant-Garde Indoors'. Four portraiture models recreated indoor shots by surrealists, and participants drew or painted them while listening to stories about the original artists' lives and legacies. Here's my recreation of Claude Cahun's self-portrait titled 'I am in training, don't kiss me' from 1927.
