Story
I took this picture in the middle of the lockdown, before things started to slowly reopen. People were still taking their daily walks. The staff of the care home where my stepdad lives hung blank postcards to the trees in the grounds and suggested local walkers and neighbours leave cheery messages for the residents. The home went into lockdown in February and thankfully avoided a COVID outbreak first time around. It was springtime but looking back, this was such a time of uncertainty and worry for us.
