Story
Wee J wasn't an original member of Ghillie Dhu Crew but following the panic, amongst the group, when lockdown was announced he joined us online. After 20 weeks his carer said, "at first he said no way was he having his photo taken he said, "I've a horrible smile," now everyday he demands his picture is sent with his creations. He refused to be seen online at school and said "Ghillie Dhus are different, I belong to them". The confidence it’s given him is unbelievable". We've loved seeing wee J's smile in 2020.

We’ve lost our fear of the virtual and digital world. 2020 has been a strange and weird time but has pushed us to think outside the box and what a privilege to get to know and work with wee J and others in a way that we never would have been able to before. Hopefully we can continue to help more children and young people smile!
