Story
At times it’s felt like I’m surrounded on all sides by grief, like water: whether it’s a loved one, income and financial security, a safe place, health, travel plans, relationships, routines, hopes, plans, opportunities, a feeling of being in control, everybody has lost something.

Vision
I think that people have begun to realise how much we have in common – really seeing and respecting the essential humanity of others, and the importance of relationships, connections and community; understanding that we’re not alone and that we can, and have to, take care of each other.

I want to support people, to be strong and help to hold them up, stay standing, against this gathering tide of loss, but I know that I cannot hold it back.
