National Galleries of Scotland

We’re helping young people across Scotland to discover a whole new world of creative possibilities. By providing tools and support, Your Art World demystifies the creative process and makes art accessible to everyone. This inclusive display includes work collected over the past year in a nation-wide call out to those aged from 3-18years old. These young artists could be as imaginative as they liked and use any materials of their choice. They were guided by themes set by other young people, or they could simply freestyle it.  

At the heart of Your Art World is a goal to inspire and empower young people to think and act creatively but there’s also the added bonus of having your artwork showcased. All submissions can be viewed via our online gallery and will also be displayed digitally at the Scottish National Gallery from summer 2023 to spring 2024 with a selection of 2D and 3D physical works. There will also be an ‘interactive zone’ where visitors can get creative themselves! If you would like to see how a five-year-old responds to the prompt, ‘imagine what it’s like to be a tiny bee’, then be sure to check out this exhibition.
