About

This display features a selection of 19th and early 20th-century Scottish artworks by William McTaggart, Sir James Guthrie, John Duncan, Arthur Melville, Phoebe Anna Traquair and others.

Landscapes are a particularly strong focus in this room, showing how Scottish artists over time have developed different responses to this subject.
