Defiance, Reversal, Subversion: mixed media workshop

Join Mexican-born, Scotland based poet and translator, Juana Adcock for a creative writing workshop that will take inspiration from different works by Paula Rego. Working in the Gallery, Juana will encourage a range of genre responses to the work including poetry, memoir and prose fiction. Themes of artist, mother, carer and conflict will be explored as will using creativity as a way of making sense and meaning of our most challenging life experiences.
The Changing Places toilet is located in the rear car park of Modern One with accessible parking spaces located nearby. The unit is open 9am-5pm, every day, a key is not required.
The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is located 15 minutes’ walk from Princes Street. It includes two buildings, Modern One and Modern Two, set in a beautiful sculpture park.
