Wormistoune House, near Crail in Fife, dates back to 1629. It is a privately owned, fine three-storey warm ochre limewashed tower house with early 18th-century wings and was subject to substantial remodelling in the 19th century. It is now owned by Baron and Lady Wormistoune who have spent the last 25 years repairing and rebuilding the house and creating the most wonderful gardens and garden features. We will be shown round the house, whose extraordinary history will be explained, and the gardens with the newly added "male and female" pavilions, by the owners, the architects and the head gardener. Tea and cakes will be served mid-afternoon.
