This is a unique opportunity to hear the distinguished artist Victoria Crowe in conversation with Guy Peploe, the Director of The Scottish Gallery. They will be talking about her life and the new exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery Victoria Crowe: Beyond Likeness which brings together a group of her best portraits. Victoria Crowe has developed an approach to portraiture that seeks to do more than record the outward appearance of a person. She aims to represent something of the inner life 'the experiences and preoccupations of the individuals depicted' the world of ideas and dreams.
