Course Adults

Sculpting the Head Using Clay

  • Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 October, 10.30am-4pm
£ 110.00

Come along to learn to model a clay head directly from life and to develop observational skills and clay modelling techniques. Open to all levels this is an opportunity to learn from practising artist Duncan Robertson and, over the two days you will complete your own piece of sculpture. The course begins with a short talk about Duncan’s own work and practice followed by an opportunity to view some key works in the National Gallery before beginning your own work with the clay. Group sizes are kept small so each participant can benefit from individual attention from the tutor. All tools and clay are included in course price but do bring a box to take away your finished work.
