Printing Spring: Linocut and Monotype Workshop
Sat 4 & Sun 5 Apr 2020
10.30am - 4pm
Led by professional artist Kittie Jones, this is a lively weekend working up sketches into multi-layered prints using an experimental approach to the monotype process creating richly layered results. The workshop will start with sketching outdoors taking inspiration from the colourful flowerbeds of Princes Street Gardens. These sketches will then be translated into multi-layered prints using rub-away and stencil techniques to create A4 monotype prints which can be both painterly and graphic in their results. All materials will be supplied.
We are currently working on improving our galleries. During this time some rooms will be closed and some facilities will be temporarily removed. There will be limited disabled access to some areas.
