Portrait Gallery Thematic Tours: The Intriguing and The Gory

A themed look at the Portrait Gallery's collection. This month, Katharine Aarrestad will discuss the enigmatic anonymous painting of The Execution of Charles the First. This talk will consider aspects of the king’s life and the moment after death as captured in this work.

Located in the city centre on Queen Street, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery is easy to access.
