Enjoy a free, relaxing descriptive tour of the busts and faces on display in the Portrait Gallery Library. This informal session will take a mindful, closer look at artworks and will invite visitors to take their time, to contemplate and to notice. As the talk incorporates detailed description, it is suitable for both sighted and visually impaired visitors. Turn up, tune in and chill out.
In order to protect our vulnerable works of art from any kind of accidental damage we kindly ask all visitors to either carry their rucksack/backpack by hand or place it in a locker.
Located in the city centre on Queen Street, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery is easy to access.
Friends of the Galleries get free unlimited entry to all exhibitions, and enjoy a wide range of exclusive benefits including early exhibition access, special events and 10% discount in our cafes.
