The acclaimed author of Under the Skin and The Crimson Petal and the White, Michel Faber will be talking about the remarkable work of his late wife, the photographer Eva Faber.
Eva’s death from cancer in 2014 was the subject of Undying, a collection of poems by Michel published last year.
This special event, in association with the Scottish Society for the History of Photography (SSHoP), will focus on Eva’s photographs.
After the talk there will be a drinks reception, to network with the members of the Scottish Society of the History of Photography, with an opportunity to browse the Scottish National Gallery Link shop. There will be 15% off all purchases made at the Link shop for ticket holders on the evening.
The latest edition of the Studies in Photography 2017 Journal (Edition I) will be available for sale on the evening.
